Funded through the ExaGEO DLA (NERC Doctoral Landscape Award), this PhD will investigate how exascale computing can drive environmental science forward responsibly - exploring energy use, carbon efficiency, and the idea of “sufficiency” in digital research. Applicants will apply for funding competitively through the ExaGEO DLA programme, alongside other exciting environmental computing projects.
